As part of our International Week celebrations, our PYP students had the opportunity to explore different countries’ cultures and traditions through some special visits from our school community.

We were delighted to welcome Ms. Elina, one of the mothers, who came to introduce us to Russia and its art. She shared examples of Russian artwork and helped us discover more about the country’s artistic traditions. The students enjoyed looking at the pictures, asking questions and learning how art can tell us a lot about a country’s culture.

The next country was Egypt! Joudie’s parents, Ms. Ilada and Mr. Mohamed, visited the classroom to share interesting facts about their country. The students learned more about Egyptian culture, traditions and history. They were curious and excited to discover what makes Egypt so special.

A big thank you to Ms. Elina, Ms. Ilada and Mr. Mohamed for taking the time to visit and share their knowledge and experiences!International Week is a wonderful reminder that the world is full of amazing cultures, stories and traditions!
