Introduction
Marta Chelyuskina is one of the students running for Vice President this year. She is a Year 10 student, and is currently a member of the Student Council.
For her campaign, she ways that she will listen, and make your voices heard, regardless of age. She will work with the rest of the Student Council to actually make ideas into actions and events. And lastly, she wants to help make the school into a community.
Now, for the interview!
For interviewing the candidates, we decided to go with the same questions for all of them, as it would work best to give you, the reader, an accurate idea as to how each candidate will strive towards.
What inspired you to be a candidate for Vice President?
Power… I want to have the opportunity to make a difference in our school by taking initiative and doing things that I can’t do through the other committees. I think it would be a fun and rewarding experience, and it would also be a great addition to my portfolio.
Is there something specific you would like to promise except following your responsibility?
I’d love to organize more events like Spirit Weeks and art challenges.
Is it stressful to participate in Student Council elections?
Not really, I just send what I need to send, and that’s pretty much it. I don’t really worry that much.
Are you looking forward to election day and results?
YES! I really hope I win!
What goals do you have as Vice President candidate?
I want to bring new ideas to life and help make this school year more fun, engaging, and memorable for everyone.
Why should people specifically vote for you?
I’m open-minded, ready to listen to everyone’s ideas, and excited to bring them to life. I also bring positive energy and want to make our school feel like one big family again.
Remember to be respectful, and thank you to all candidates and voters!
