Months of dedicated work, countless rehearsals, plenty of laughter, creativity, and team spirit culminated in the spectacular performance of the musical Shrek Jr., which delighted audiences and once again demonstrated just how talented and committed our students can be.
Work on this ambitious project began back in January, when auditions were held for acting and singing roles. After the cast was selected, months of preparation and rehearsals followed, taking place twice a week. As the premiere date approached, the pace of work became increasingly intensive. Throughout May and June, students and teachers devoted additional time to perfecting every scene, song, and choreography, while the final week before the performance was dedicated to full-day rehearsals, technical preparations, and the final coordination of all production elements.

Special credit for the success of this project goes to our Ms Stacy – teacher who guided the students through the entire creative process from the very beginning, providing support, motivation, and professional leadership throughout every stage of the production.
The first performance was held during the school day for PYP students, who enthusiastically followed the adventures of their favorite green hero and his friends. The evening performance at 7:00 PM, held at the Army Hall, was intended for older students, families, and friends of the school.

The atmosphere in the theatre was truly exceptional. The audience enjoyed energetic performances, music, costumes, and set design, while the students on stage demonstrated confidence, talent, and professionalism. What particularly distinguished the entire project was the excellent collaboration among the students, their mutual support, and the strong team spirit they developed throughout the months of preparation.

Every member of the cast and technical crew contributed to the success of the production, and the result of their collective efforts was a musical that will be remembered for a long time. Shrek Jr. was not only a theatrical performance but also an opportunity for students to develop creativity, communication skills, responsibility, and self-confidence while creating memories they will carry with them for years to come.

We congratulate all the students, Ms Stacy, teachers, staff members, and volunteers who participated in bringing this project to life, and we thank them for providing the audience with an evening filled with laughter, emotion, and true theatrical magic.
