Yesterday Year 13’s Garage Sale was held. Marija Goranović informed us more about this great event! Let’s hear it out!

On Wednesday October 2nd, our Year 13 students organised a successful garage sale to raise funds for their senior hoodies and contribute to a good cause. The event was held in front of the school – unlike any other seen before: clothes, books, accessories were carefully organised on clothing racks or desks to promote ethical fashion and the importance of giving away clothes in a good, pre-loved condition.

The class was able to raise an amazing 530 euros! Asides from covering the costs of hoodies, the profits will be donated to charity. All the clothes that were not sold will be given to Red Cross Tivat ensuring that nothing goes to waste and that the items will be beneficial to those in need.

The Garage Sale was not just about raising money, but about raising awareness. The event encouraged everyone to think more about sustainable choices and choose recycling rather than wasting!

Huge thank you to everyone who donated, helped or bought the items at the Garage Sale.
