Knightsbridge Schools International Montenegro recently had the pleasure of establishing meaningful collaboration with the local community through a creative workshop for fifth-grade students at Drago Milović Primary School, led by our teacher and acclaimed children’s author, Maryam Khalifah.
The workshop was based on her book Whispers From Mother Earth, written in English, and aimed to inspire students to express themselves creatively, spark their imagination, and nurture a love for reading. In support of linguistic diversity and inclusivity, our students Arijana, Marija, and Lucija took part in the workshop alongside Ms. Jelena and Ms. Maryam, assisting with translation and facilitating communication among participants.
The hosts warmly embraced the initiative, with Teacher Mira Goranović and her V6 class opening the doors of their classroom to us, offering a heartfelt welcome and expressing strong interest in similar activities in the future.
Collaborations like this affirm the value of creative approaches to education, encouraging children to explore and develop their ideas freely.
