On the 30th of October, 2026, Principal Gareth sent out an email to all students, declaring the entire month of November to be Uniform Month. Throughout the entire month, homeroom teachers, Ms. Alex, and Mr. Gareth himself have been, and will continue to be, ensuring that every student turns up to school wearing the uniform correctly, meeting their expectations.

Regulations

Aspects that are being regulated include:
– A clean, tidy, well fitted uniform
– Clean, neat hair
— Recommendation to tie up hair if it is longer than collar length
– Clean, trimmed nails
— Neutral coloured nail polish
– No facial piercings
– Neutral coloured shoes, with a low heel
– Neutral coloured socks and tights
– Skirts must be navy blue, black, or dark grey
— Must reach at least fingertip length when hands are at sides
– Shorts and pants must be navy blue, and either uniform or professional
– PE uniform required for all PHE lessons

Punishments for infractions

Students who fail to comply with these uniform requirements have been receiving community service, such as library organisation, cleaning the gym, or having to ring the bell during lunch. According to the KSIM Family Hub, students will also be given a second-hand uniform piece per the day, and, should repeated offences occur, parents will be informed. It will appear as a level 1 behaviour in the school’s discipline plan.

Please remember to wear your uniform!
