If you\u2019ve walked past the boys\u2019 restroom in our school lately and noticed the doors glowing with unusual colors \u2014 your eyes weren\u2019t deceiving you. Our DP students, spontaneously and completely unexpectedly, transformed an ordinary space into a mini disco scene that looks like it jumped out of a futuristic version of school life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alex, Nick and Lucian brought in and installed glowing LED lights \u2014 the small, practical ones usually meant for kitchen cabinets \u2014 but this time in vibrant purple, green, and blue shades. They even hung up a real disco ball<\/em>, which now slowly rotates and scatters reflections across the walls as if inviting you to dance\u2026 or at least wash your hands with a bit more enthusiasm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What started as a small aesthetic upgrade turned into a full visual spectacle: the boys\u2019 restroom now looks better than most classrooms, and maybe even some students\u2019 bedrooms. Although it\u2019s just an everyday space, the students showed how creativity can transform an atmosphere \u2014 especially where we least expect it.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

As a teacher, I have to admit: I\u2019m impressed.
At a time when students usually rush out of the restroom, we now have a situation where some actually stop by just to check out the \u201clight show.\u201d And maybe, secretly, to make sure the disco ball is still there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes it takes just a little bit of light for a school to shine \u2014 literally.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

And since we already have the atmosphere of a real disco club, it seems only fair that we make a small school-spirited request: could we, at least on the last day before winter break, set up some music and maybe a few snacks?<\/strong> If the restroom has already become the most creative \u201cstage\u201d in the school, it deserves its premiere \u2014 with laughter, good vibes, and a little more sparkling magic.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
