Students from Year 9 and Year 10 organized a special assembly at our school to raise awareness about animal welfare. Four students—two from Year 10 and two from Year 9—prepared an informative presentation about dogs, their needs, and how we can take better care of them.

The highlight of the assembly was a guest speaker from Šapa Animal Shelter in Tivat, who shared her experiences working with dogs in need. She spoke passionately about the importance of treating animals with kindness and responsibility. She gave useful tips on how to approach unfamiliar dogs, how to stay safe around them, and how to help abandoned or stray animals.

During the presentation, the students also explained plans for a fundraising project. They encouraged everyone to participate so that they could collect money to support the shelter and help dogs find loving homes.

The assembly was both educational and inspiring, giving students practical advice on animal care and showing how even small actions can make a big difference.
