This Monday, our school held a very special Breast Cancer Awareness Assembly. We are extremely grateful for the opportunity to learn more about this important topic and to hear an inspiring story from a brave woman who survived breast cancer. She came all the way from Podgorica and is part of the organization “Brini se o sebi” (“Take Care of Yourself”).

During the assembly, she shared her touching experience and talked about the importance of early detection and self-care. Her speech deeply moved everyone in the audience and reminded us how important it is to raise awareness and support one another. She also showed us a video of the Breast Cancer Race, where many participants joined together to support the cause.

Before the assembly, on Friday’s International Day, our students also helped raise money for the same cause by selling pink food and desserts, with all the proceeds going to support Brini se o sebi. It was wonderful to see our school community come together for such an important reason.

Students and teachers were encouraged to wear pink to show their support, and we want to thank everyone who participated and donated two euros to wear pink. All the money collected will be donated to the organization Brini se o sebi, which supports breast cancer awareness and women’s health in Montenegro.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organize this wonderful assembly and made it such a memorable and educational experience for our community.
